California Landscape Architect License # 3645

I received a masters degree in landscape architecture from the University of Oregon in 1989 and earned the title of landscape architect in 1992.  After working for the US Forest Service in Oregon and then two landscape architects in Santa Cruz I became affiliated with Almaden Valley Nursery in San Jose. Since 1995 I have been providing on-site landscape consultations for clients living in south San Jose to Palo Alto; Santa Cruz to Morgan Hill.

Prior to that I earned a degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz in 1978 and studied organic gardening at the UC Santa Cruz Farm and Garden.  I traveled for a year in Europe touring English gardens, working on a vineyard near Bordeaux, France, visiting Italian villas, and hiking in Greece.  I enjoyed and photographed flowers and gardens wherever I went.  I continue to love gardening, watercolors and nature.

Do you want to give your home a more contemporary look?

Do you want a more suitable place to entertain your guests outdoors?

Do you want to invite hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden?

Do you wish for a place to relax in your back yard?

I will listen to your dreams.  Together we will work to make them come true.
